Patient Information

Patients may be eligible for Private Health Insurance rebates as all sessions are supervised by qualified and registered Allied Health Professionals (Osteopaths).  Please check with your Private Health Insurer for more information.

Medicare Rebates (Bulk Billing)

You may be eligible for a Chronic Disease Management Plan (formerly known as Enhanced Primary Care Plan) for Allied Health Services Under Medicare.  These Plans are granted at the discretion of your GP./Medical Centre.   Medicare Care Plans enable up to 5 (five sessions per calendar year) of MedX Sessions to be Bulk Billed through Medicare on presentation of the correct documentation as provided by your GP.

Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA)

All DVA card holders are welcome to commence approved Programs on presentation of their DVA cards.  All sessions are supervised by  registered  Allied Health Professionals and registered for DVA.

MedX Happy Customer

National Disability Intervention Scheme (NDIS)

Exercise Rehabilitation sessions are supervised by Allied Health Professionals and therefore eligible for NDIS funding.  Payments for Programs may be fully reinbursed through your Administrator or Case Manager.  Please contact your Case Manager to ensure adequate funding is available prior to commencing Programs.

Work-cover/ Insurance Claims

Exercise Rehabilitation sessions are eligible for Workcover and Insurance Claims.  Please contact your Case Manager and provide all necessary documentation prior to commencing Programs.

Please allow adequate time for your appointment:

  • MedX Rehab Session: (30min) Includes Assessment, Warm-Up Exercise, Training Session, Mobility & Stretching

  • Osteo Session: (45min) Includes Assessment, Diagnosis, Exercise Rehab & Physical Therapy

 

You may also require additional time for commuting/parking and or walking from the Edgecliff train station, so please allow an additional 10min for arrival.

Appointment Information

What to Wear

Please wear comfortable active wear and covered shoes to your initial testing and subsequent sessions.

What to Bring

Please bring a refillable water bottle, towel or gym chamoise.  You may also bring a change of clothes and toiletries should you wish to use shower facilities on site

Arriving by Vehicle

There is ample car parking at the Edgecliff Centre with 1.5hrs free parking in the Aldi carpark, or 2hrs parking under the Coles.   Please note there are some vehicle height restrictions entering the Aldi carpark so please check this prior to entry. 

Clinic Location

We are located at the Edgecliff Shopping Centre on the Ground Floor (front street entrance adjacent to the Taxi rank and express post boxes).   Please enter from the street entrance door!

Arriving by Train

Our clinic is conveniently situated above the Edgecliff Train station with easy access up the escalator.  There is 'no step' access by continuing through the centre toward Aldi before coming to our clinic on the right of the building.  Please enter Shop 27 through the street entry door.

Taxi/Uber

Taxi Rank / Set down point adjacent to shopping centre entrance.
